The only way to help is to make sure everyone you know reads this site and passes it on.

The military only does anything if it hits the media, and even then most of the time they sweep it under the rug.

You can call your local congressional members and senators.  This isn’t something that should be ignored or allowed to continue.  This country has attacked the Catholic Church, how is this any different if not worse?

And people were outraged because they felt Joe Paterno didn’t do enough.  The man was third party and took it to his superiors, at least he did something!  Anybody that reads this page or is aware of such crimes and does nothing to help make a difference is no better than others who ignore sexual assault and rape!

If you are a victim of military rape go straight to the police!  And get an advocate from a local agency.  Do not go to the military and do not go to SAPRO or any freelance advocates who were in the military that have minimal training dealing with victims.

SWAN (Service Woman’s Action Network) is the most helpful group with professionals.
